A Blushing Bride

A friend of my mother's, Maranda was kind enough to model for me and fulfill a few of my crazy antics. She spent time with me, suffered through sand for me, and even splashed around in the river for me!

Smoke Signal

The last assignment of the school semester was to shoot a character portrait. My friend Donovan helped me to show a character trait that I find really defines a person. He's a pretty lax guy, a really calm personality that still sparks with fun exploits.

Fashion Video Portrait

This was shot for the second half of my Visual Validation class, and something that would be new to me. I attempted a video portrait that focused on fashion since I'm prepping myself up to intern with a lady who's the master of pin up fashion and beauty. I'm still not sure that I grasped the entire concept of "Video Portrait", but here's to my first attempt. Please comment and let me know what you think after watching it here.

Video Killed the Radio Star

Recently, I've been putting together quite a few video projects that's kept me really busy. Between class, video projects, and Castle, I rarely have time for sleep! I've uploaded my last two projects onto my Vimeo account; you can find them here!

The first one was shot in February, a little promotional work I did for this amazing company called Pixie Productions. They are an entertainment business that performs at birthday parties and other various events, often donating to well known charities.

The second was shot for class, a documentary assignment that required me to shoot two people interacting. Amanda and Sarah were kind enough to allow me to record them while they practiced dancing.

I'm still working on some new videos and hope to have them uploaded soon!

Norman Medieval Faire

A weekend or so ago, I ventured to the Norman Medieval Faire for the second year in a row. Compared to last year, it was so much better! It wasn't raining so I was able to take my camera around with me to gather a few snapshots of the goings on of the weekend.

Reboot

I had a few suggestions on redoing some photos I had taken lately, so I added some new techniques I learned within photoshop to give my photos a new look! Here's some before and after shots~
