Landslide

Another set of photos taken within the studio, practicing headshots and full body shots for an assignment. The last pose is one that I've seen several times in fashion magazines and modeling photography. While I find it visually appealing, I have a hard time understanding the pose.

Just Your Extra Time

Finally! I finally made my back into the studio and I have to say, I really miss shooting in there. I try to balance my studio/outside shooting, and it's been a while since I've shot in studio. I honestly prefer it. This assignment was best shot indoors, as it required five lights.

Green With Envy

This sexy greenette, because yes, she has green hair beneath those red locks, is Sarah. This was her first time modeling for me professionally, and I'm looking forward to working with her again in the future. She looks amazing in those tights!

Red Hot

My first model for the arcade pin up shoot was Ashly, one of the wackiest person who's always full of smiles and fun. She's helped me out quite a bit, even suggesting the arcade for such a shoot.

Two to Tango

This is another attempt at Pinup, and my best try so far. I had some sexy models who helped me out: Ashly and Sarah. These were taken in a Tulsa arcade, shot with an external flash that I'm attempting to master.

Shadows on the Wall

My last assignment given was for a one-light set up. I decided to play with my external flash some more and with the assistance of a good friend, came up with these images.

Standing Tall

Today's assignment was to create a slideshow interview concerning the OSUIT campus history. With the help of my group, we pulled together some great images of the campus's landmarks. Here are a few that I took:

Fireworks

Wanted to try out some glamor portraits with the lovely Amanda. These were shot with my newly purchased external flash and I was testing it out. I'm still new to it so I'm more or less pushing buttons but I'm pretty happy with what I've gotten so far!

Colors of the Wind

I wanted to shoot an available light portrait, so I took my lovely model out to find some inspiration. We found a huge pile of leaves and had way more fun than necessary!

Could Use a Wish Right Now

Another assignment for school, I needed to attempt a bridal shot. While I love the pictures, I really would like to work more on this edge of photography so I can fully master it. I fully intend to try again whenever she gets her actual wedding dress..

You'll Be In My Heart

For class, we had an assignment of a portrait with a pet. While I have several dogs of my own, I really wanted to try working with someone else and their animal. My best friend Amanda just happens to have an awesome and beautiful corgi named Ein, so I tried working with him. It was fairly difficult, but so worth the effort! I used only window light since a flash scared him.
