Unhooked Fairy

Some portraits of EverAfter Events taken during the festival.

Performing Pixies

Taken over the break, I attended a small festival held in Muskogee. EverAfter Events was participating there and asked that I come take pictures and it was quite the delight to attend.

Note To Self

I'm very forgetful, so I decided to put up some notes in a place that I'm sure to see them everyday. Of the reminders, "take a picture" was one so I did just that.

Pixel Love

Shot for an assignment intended as a computer and person portrait, I chose to play with a fun angle. My intentions were of selling an "anti-virus" program rather than the computer itself.

Defying Gravity

The summer break for school is over and I'm hopping back into action. This was taken in an Okmulgee park, a very beautiful scenery that I cannot wait to visit again.

Lady Marmalade

Being that Barataria was a fairy/fantasy festival, of course there would be quite the assortment of fairies. One little button fairy in particular was the cutest little model.

Whiskey In The Jar

There were a few dance groups participating in the Barataria Festival, including Ozark Mountain Gypsies and Project Vagabond & Gypsy Sol.

Birds of Prey

The Royal Gauntlet Birds of Prey have been a devoted group of performers who appear at the OKRF for several years running now. It was a delight to finally get to see them while not working and be given the chance to photograph their wonderful birds and workers.

There Be Pirates

The Bawdy Boys and Musical Blades were among the piratical talent appearing at Barataria, it was a yo-ho! and a bottle of fun.

Barataria

This last weekend I took a trip down to Springfield, Missouri for an and coming fantasy festival called Barataria. This was it's first year and had a large group of supporters including the Musical Blades, OKRF Guest Cast, and Queen's Gambit to name a few. Here's just a few looks at what the day consisted of.

Kennedy Lorraine

After photography baby Kennedy before she was even born, I was given the delightful opportunity to have her first photoshoot as well. She was quite the trooper and I look forward to photographing her as she grows up.

Freestyle

Kelly gave a sports assignment for the class, which I was rather reluctant about.. I love the shots, but I don't think I have the best eye for it. Even so, I checked out the local aquatic center and lucked out to find some great swimmers.

Hit 'em Up

The other day Kelly gave an awesome sports photography demonstration by allowing the students to play tennis over at the courts. It was a lot of burnt faces, funny faces, and great pictures!
