EverAfter Events

A good friend of mine asked me to take some pictures for her new site promoting her business EverAfter EventsCo. I took several pictures of her in dress, but here's a teaser of what's to come!

Seize The Moment

Today in class, we talked about Sport Photography and how crucial particular moments could be. For a demonstration, we visited the gym and spent some time watching students play basketball.

Action and Reaction

In class, we discussed two focuses when it comes to sports photography: action and reaction. We'll be working on sports soon, but I wanted to share some images that I took during the Wreckers game not too long ago.

Party Like An Animal

The OSUIT heretics took a trip to the Tulsa Zoo and had more fun than animals themselves.

Ain't Going Down 'Til The Sun Comes Up

I LOVE taking pictures that include water, so with my siblings in the pool I had a wonderful time of photographing them. I even attempted a little bit of underwater photography, although it didn't turn out the way I wanted to (since I shot through a plastic container because no tank on hand) but I really enjoyed the experiment. It was also a perfect chance to try out my new fisheye lens.

The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything

While my family visited, I brought my two siblings to visit my home at OSUIT.

Friends In Low Places

My family visited from Missouri and we spent the weekend together in Mannford, OK. While there, I managed to get some great shots of my siblings Travis Jacob and Morgan.

La Roux

In class we were told to have a fabric shot. I took this piece of fabric and included in a wine glass to try for a classy edge.

In My Prime ~Faolen

While attending a school board meeting in Ardmore, I just happened to meet an aspiring author through a mutual friend. She's currently in the works of getting her book published, but in the mean time she wrote an award-winning poem taking inspiration from an image I took quite a few years ago. Here's the image and here's a link to the poem and the rest of her work!

Workin' Hard For His Money

My assignment was to take some photographs of metal detail. The design motif was pretty simple, some gears and wrenches. However, I found a watch and decided to put a product-esque spin to it.

Wrecking up a Storm

Stephanie asked me to attend her son's baseball game to get some wicked photographs of him in his uniform. I took these while there was a storm on its way, to which he said "I hope the game ends so we get the default win." Go Wreckers.

Who Let The Dogs Out?

Over summer break I took my dogs to the local lake. It was Mischa's first time and she was estatic for the opportunity to run around and swim in the water. The other dogs though... weren't so thrilled.

Go Butterfree!

While at home during my summer break, I did a lot of playing with my camera and my Pokemon games. It's tough work being a Pokemon master.

Big Brother's Watching You

While at home, I managed to talk my brother into modeling for me. He's always been a huge fan of martial arts and collecting swords so I wanted to reflect that side of him.
