Midsummer Night's Dream

Practicing motion photography in the studio.

Death to the Queen

In Studio we were given the assignment to recreate a painting. I chose a very simple one that would allow me to take some creative liberty, as the recreation did not have to be exact. I took a fake blood mixture (chocolate syrup, corn starch, red food coloring) which I dub "Death to the Queen" and dabbed it onto the rose. Simply, really, but somewhat elegant.

Emotional Rollercoaster

An assignment in class was to take four pictures representing the emotions joy, sadness, contentment, and fear without using people. The main focus was to be on the colors. Albeit difficult, I did have quite a bit of fun doing this assignment.

Heart of Glass

In Studio I, I was given the assignment to shoot glassware in high key and low key situations. The only requirements were to show the definition of the glass and use a single light. I took quite a few creative liberties with this assignment and had so much fun! I love doing tabletop and playing with colors.

Time Stands Still

I was given the photographic assignment of shooting a still life. This picture went through several different changes, from being only the tea set to this "Alice in Wonderland"-esque style of shot.

The tea set is a momento of a grandmother who passed away on my birthday. Blue fabric that was thrown in as Alice's dress, a bottle I found with water and food coloring.

Can anyone guess what my favorite color is?
